Laggy On Ns Maps

I can run CO maps fine, no lag or anything

but when people start building stuff on NS maps I start to lag. I know that NS pushes the HL engine to its limits and that's why its lagging, I've just forgotten how to tweek it so it runs smoothly.

Can someone give me a reminder?

    In the Tech Support sticky, there is a link here, for a guide to improving frame rates:

    Or, you could just upgrade your computer. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Could you state your PCs specs please, aswell as what internet connection you have.

    Have you run ad-aware. spybot, virus check etc.

    Also is steam setup correctly to you connection type, steam>options>internet.
