    Don't think i'll be goin any time soon. Not sure i'd want all the hassel either. Lining up in real lines or download lines - either way i'll see all the trailers.

    so its obvious that the chances of getting anything out of it are slim to none....

    Yea, only developers/puplishers or press are allowed. With the exception of these passes which are given out by the press/game companies.

    Not entirely true. Most people who go to E3 are developers, and publishers, but a lot of software distributers go, and some retailers go. I get a letter every year say "How would you like to go to E3 this year? Just pay $150 for a one-day pass, or $275 for a 2 day pass..."

    I wanna go to E3, but the thought of having to pay about 90 quid for one day sickens me. And then, you have to sort out accomodation!

    He got a free pass to E3.

    Because he works at Blockbuster.

    But I don't have the money to fly around the country, so I can't take him up on it.
