Thus my previous point about bad knowledge in that "too much caffeine" thread.

Light the magnesium and endjoy the show.

This stuff is called thermite and very small amounts of this stuff can make very large holes in metal where there were no holes before. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->

You know what's better? Rubbing mercury paste on an airplane. Ever seen a plane fall apart in midair? Well believe it or not some british commandos had plans use Hg paste to destroy Nazi fighters, whether they did or didn't it is unknown, but it would have worked.

PS: Thermite is good for when you don't have a welder or want to destroy a car engine quickly.

That kid is fricking smart. And at least he decided to stop the experiment when it got out of hand instead of going all Evil Genius.

He'd do well in the energy industry. I mean the kid made a nuclear reactor at the age of 17 with some really basic stuff and duct tape (Proving that duct tape can be used for everything)

But he went for the Navy (The NAVY? WTH?)

Perfect example of bad knowledge... I'm going to paste the disclaimer in red text for anyone stupid enough to even consider that.

Please do NOT attempt to recreate any part of these experiments for the following reasons:

You will most likely poison yourself and/or others

Nobody really needs an unsafe homemade reactor (especially one made of duct tape and foil)

If enough people try these dangerous experiments, the government will try to outlaw any sort of legitimate private experiments with radioactivity or possession of any radioactive minerals or materials (thus spoiling all of our fun).</span><!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
