Perhaps the most beautiful music I've ever heard espeicaly their () album. All the tracks off that are untitled, and they all flow, so I'd definatly recommend tracking down the entire album, rather than a specific track. (yeah, yeah, yeah...I know...specific songs...but one song is not really appropiate for this band. PM if you want me to set up one of those legal stream cast thingys for it...its definatly worth it)
I can't describe what listening to this the first time was like, I was literaly crying at the beauty of it.
If you like Sigur Ros, you'll probably also like bands like Mogwai (Stop Coming to My House is a great track), Explosions in the Sky(Your Hand in Mine), and maybe DNTEL (um...hmm...I guess Why I'm So Unhappy might be my favorite track from them).
Another outstandingly beautiful band is Godspeed You Black Emperors. Not quite a tears of joy experiance, but close. Plus they've got the best album name ever; "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven." Very very long songs on this one....two cds and four tracks.....my favorite is called "Gathering Storm / "Welcome To Barco Am/Pm..." / Cancer Towers On Holy Road Hi-Way"...I think. Theres no titels on the linre notes, I've also heard it called Storm I think...yeah...anotehr one to PM me about I guess.
This next one most people think I'm insane for saying its beuatiful, but I think Wolfeyes is beautiful, even if it is unorganized, harsh noise. Burned Mind, and Dead Hills, are outstanding albums, and as far as a good track goes, Stabbed in the Face makes shivers go down my spine...in a good way

Perhaps the most beautiful music I've ever heard espeicaly their () album. All the tracks off that are untitled, and they all flow, so I'd definatly recommend tracking down the entire album, rather than a specific track. (yeah, yeah, yeah...I know...specific songs...but one song is not really appropiate for this band. PM if you want me to set up one of those legal stream cast thingys for it...its definatly worth it)
I can't describe what listening to this the first time was like, I was literaly crying at the beauty of it.
If you like Sigur Ros, you'll probably also like bands like Mogwai (Stop Coming to My House is a great track), Explosions in the Sky(Your Hand in Mine), and maybe DNTEL (um...hmm...I guess Why I'm So Unhappy might be my favorite track from them).
Another outstandingly beautiful band is Godspeed You Black Emperors. Not quite a tears of joy experiance, but close. Plus they've got the best album name ever; "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven." Very very long songs on this one....two cds and four tracks.....my favorite is called "Gathering Storm / "Welcome To Barco Am/Pm..." / Cancer Towers On Holy Road Hi-Way"...I think. Theres no titels on the linre notes, I've also heard it called Storm I think...yeah...anotehr one to PM me about I guess.
This next one most people think I'm insane for saying its beuatiful, but I think Wolfeyes is beautiful, even if it is unorganized, harsh noise. Burned Mind, and Dead Hills, are outstanding albums, and as far as a good track goes, Stabbed in the Face makes shivers go down my spine...in a good way
