You'll sympathise
So, all of yesterday I was kind of irritable, because I knew I had to go around to my partner's parents' house to fix their PC. Anyway, I met up with my partner around 5:30pm and was at their house by 6:00pm.
When I get there, it turns out they've bought me a copy of World of Warcraft. Now I've been resenting Blizzard for their minimalist European Beta, plus I've been short of cash, so I haven't been really willing to buy the game. However, I have had an overwhelming desire to play it to see what all the fuss is about. From the perspective of a games designer though, it's a "must play". I have been known to emit small keening noises when I walk past games shops the last two months.
I've recently been playing NWN as a way to put off the WoW pangs. That CD gets tossed onto my desk the moment I get home and WoW goes in the drive. I uninstall Rome:Total War and backup a shed load of MP3s to make plenty of space to install. My palms are suprisingly dry, I'm on disc three and it suddenly occurs to me that I can create an account online whilst I wait for it to finish installing.
Disaster
The CD Key is missing. Not on the box, under the CDs or anywhere. It's clearly either dropped out immediately after it was stuck on at the plant or it somehow got missed. It's from Special Reserve, which means to get a refund or replacement I now have to mail it away. I'm going to try purchasing a copy from HMV and then taking my other one back first. If I end up with two copies, then it just means my partner will be have to play, but at this point I'm not prepared to wait another week, even if it means I've spent my wages for next week. >_<
Anyone else get a copy with a missing key?

HAHA
You haven't had gank squads camping quest areas? You are damn lucky if thats the case.

Scythe, he said it's impossible to level. If you're level 60, you don't know how it is. I couldn't get out of the inn at peak hours. I can really only level at times when nobody is playing or I'm ganked by hordes of roaming 60s who have some delusion that they get honor from me.

I've been fine. I haven't been ganked once, and I've been in contested territory (Hillsbrad, etc etc) primarily. I'm level 20 and I have two honorable kills on high-leveled players.
Hell, I was fishing in a tiny boat off a dock through an entire horde raid and they ignored me.

Nope.
You can have multiple characters on multiple servers. IIRC the only restriction is you can't have characters of opposing sides on any one PVP server.
Edit: You can't move characters between servers if thats what you mean.
Edit2: That sucks.
/edit and on topic i think that you can order a cd key for like 5 bucks from blizzard, i know you could for their other games
I'm gonna sell everything and give my guild the money.
