Game Crashes Ocasionally

NS crashes sometimes when i take my finger off the voice chat button. It gives me no error message and i have to Ctrl-Alt-Del it and kill HL.exe for it to go away.
I have tried deleting, reinstalling and patching sound card drivers, directX diagnostic, and a disc check for bad clusters.

My system spec is:
2.8 gig pentium 4
512 meg of RAM
Soundblaster Live! sound card

Any help would be appreciated

I had this problem myself, until today. Apparently, according to the forums at steampowered.com, it was my router firmware that was the problem. I updated to the suggested firmware version, and now it works fine.
