Actually the heavy rumors were that the Xbox 360 wouldn't have a hard drive out of the box, rather an external one you could purchase as an accessory which would unlock "mp3" features and what not.

That would be pretty cool in black. You could hide the IR sensor.
I don't like that CD tray though. I think they should have the tray on the top. Maybe have a cover that moves up and slides away, revealing the CD tray, which slides up.

all those speculations are just silly... you wont believe how many fake xbox 360 pics ive seen yet...this one included. even microsoft itself is creating fakes , to get hands on the mole in their company,whos releasing secret informations about the xbox all the time
I must say it doesn't look that great. And I agree that they shouldn't of used 360 if it will still be in the final version. But maybe it looks better in person (other angle shots would help).
Wireless controllers would be incredible. The substitute to having to use replaceable batteries would be to use a battery pack and have it so that you could plug the controllers into the wall, so you could recharge them.
