The air from my heater wafted accross my face, exploring the various pits and scars left from years of brawling (read:acne). Although my body seemed motionless, face up on the bed, my mind certainly was not. A thousand thoughts whirled through my head. Why had it died? WHY must the spammers take the good threads? Why had the photoshop thread failed so miserably?


Why had the "Photoshop Jack Chick Comics" thread prevailed, and this thread failed? The answer was obvious.


Photoshop is expensive as hell, and it's easy to change the text on black and white comics. Changing them to something funny, on the other hand, is where the talent comes in.

So without further ado, I present to you the new, improved "edit pictures on your computer" thread.

What I propose is that we use our favorite comics, be they newspaper comics, graphic novels, pants, whatever, and change the text to something that would not fit at all with what the strip normally deals with. Examples are posted below.

Yes, I'm aware that this thread will most likely fail miserably. A good source for images would be comics.com.

    BOOM! Too bad most of the good ones are gone (I eat for christ, anyone?). Most of mine are still there though, so it's all good.
