Hi,
I have another problem again. Always when I connect to a server,
IE minimzes my game and shows up an advertisement. It is always a medium sized pop-up and it is getting very annoying, since I have the problem, that everytime NS gets minimzed, it will run with 5 fps until you restart it.
So my question: What can that be? It seems it only happens with NS. I already updated Ad-Aware SE and Spybot, but they didn't found anything. In fact, they found something and I deleted it, but the problem still remains. It happened the first time two days ago, but I got only one pop-up. Today I got like 4.

spybot S&D
MSoft Anti Spyware
AVG
google them and rejoice.
It never happens, only when I want to play.
ive tried all spyware checkers viruz checkers and all of that and still not got rid of it..
I figured a way to stop em poping up for me but its probaly bad for the pc lol,
what i did is open up taskmanager and endtask on explorer.exe, bye bye to desktop..
Then you jus open steam with taskmanager and start too play, no popups but you get no desktop <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

If closing explorer.exe fixes the problem, it must be infected itself. This could mean restoring it using recovery console, or, if you're lucky, Ad-aware 6 (the new one, the old one won't do it,) will remove the DLL hook.
If you've followed the guide and done some serious googling, please re-post for further help.
I'd appreciate a log of HijackThis.exe (a program that lists the status of practically all the parts of a windows OS spyware can infect.)
Just <a href='http://www.google.de/search?q=hijackthis+download' target='_blank'>google for it</a> if you don't already have it.
HTH.
