So I've been ranting about how freaking awesome <a href='http://tribes2.sierra.com/' target='_blank'>Tribes 2</a> is, and I think it's about bloody time that we got everyone together and had a nice CTF on Katabatic. You can get it free in the hellhole of all hellholes, Fileplanet, or you can just buy it like a sane person.

    I use to be a regular on the rebels katabatic server... I'm up for game.

    I use to be a pretty mean bomber pilot... give me a decent gunner with decent aim and I can take on shrikes easily, makes me smile when I loop the bomber around and take shrikes head on <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Fun tactic, and assuming my gunner had saved enough weapons energy the shrike usually chickens out or gets shot down.

    I played that game a disturbing amount and actually got pretty good. AKA, I was playing on one of the most popular servers and I was able to consistantly get the "most spinfusor damage" award at the end of matches, totally confusing all clanners within a five mile radius.

    Not closed so sayeth fileplanet, they're just working with VU games to get some more CD keys. Once they do that the offer'll be open again.

    A couple of years ago the CS community I played with had a little T2 revival. Imagine a full 128-player server (with people desperate to join, so it was always full), with masses of teamplay since everyone in the community basically knew each other. Total awesome win-ness.
