No TV or radio means I don't have to experience the pain of jamster ads. However, spring break was enough time for me to be thoroughly annoyed with them.

X-Fire has always been a welcome program on my system. I especially like the way you can download patches through it. I don't mind the odd banner advert or two, as long as it doesn't placing unwanted links etc on my desktop. I'll uninstall it if it uses that Jamster ad that plays the "Crazy Frog" ringtone when your mouse accidently goes over it. (You don't even have to click it!) God. Thats. Tedious. (I stopped using Dark-Throne because of it.)

From what I understand, Jamster uses poor advertisements and the cover of selling cell phone downloads to somehow lure people into an obvious scam. (The fine print takes up like 1/3 of the screen on the TV commercials).

I wonder what the reactions would be if Jamster made "songs" for wake up watches.
But I bet it would be painful <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
There can be a point in a ring tone if you work some where where you need it ie noisy and unfortunaty ring tones and games etc. are worth some thing like 3 million not sure if its per month of year might be month and thats uk only

You know those anoying mobile phone adverts on tv, that are often on 2 or 3 times during 1 brake, thats jamster adverts.
You don't watch TV, do you?
It's a company that sells ringtones and backgrounds for phones. Their advertisements are:
1) everywhere.
2) annoying as hell.
Imagine a corporation that feeds off human souls. Now add blue things with testicles and fluffy baby chickens.
Voila, Jamster!
Also, Trillian for the win, as they say.
Yes.
And thankfully, we don't have Jamster in Canada, never seen their ads, woooo.
