I don't have With Teeth, yet, but I have to agree Pretty Hate Machine is #1. Damn I love that album. The Fragile is my second favorite, I don't care what you say. Although I only have 4 albums (those two + Broken and The Downwards Spiral). Closer is an incredible song, but I don't like the rest of the cd nearly as much as I like The Fragile.

I think it's great. Plenty of good stuff on there.
For the record, I prefer The Downward Spiral over Pretty Hate Machine, but they're both excellent records.
Oh, and referring to NIN with terms such as "emo" and "teen angst" = so incredibly wrong. It's not Trent's fault that a bunch of whiny middle-class teens like to sit in dark rooms listening to his albums and claiming to be "deep".

I've just discovered that Nine Inch Nails can only be properly appreciated while alone in your house, with the music blaring, dancing around your living room in boxers.
NIN taught me to dance <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Did anyone else get onto NIN like me by first hearing the Quake music? I got Quake and fell in love with the atmospheric musical landscapes depicted on that CD, then I got The Downward Spiral for that coming christmas. NIN were the first band I fell in love with.
Considering that The Downward Spiral was my first obsessive experience over music, it's hardly a wonder that my brain seems as askew as it is. I used to listen to that album day after day after day in the playground at school on my tape player, just watching the world go by while I was immersed in my own dirge of a mental landscape. God bless NIN.
I still haven't got the new album yet...soon I shall go shopping and get it and SOAD's new album, then fingers crossed, some time this year Tool's new album.
seems Trent has provided a sample pack of individual channels from 'The Hand that Feeds' and the following site has made a Breakbeat based remix challenge with some quite good prizes.
If you're into Music Production and Breakbeats (any style, DnB to TripHop) get the pack and get remixing! comp deadline end of June
Yay, I own this album now. I haven't listened to it yet, but I love the style of the packaging. <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I also bought today:
CDs/ NIN - The Downward Spiral Delux Edition (remixed for dolby 5.1 and has the remixes) System of a Down - Mezmerize (there's another thread somewhere for this) Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies to Paralyze (Where'd Nick Olivero go? <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
Books/ Hat Full of Sky (discworld novel) - Terry Prattchett (signed! yay) Darwin's Watch (also a discworld novel, but more of a scientific commentry) - Terry P + Ian Stewart.
And I only spent £15 of my own money <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> I bought the rest with vouchers I got for my birthday last year.
Okay I went off topic a bit....I feel like I've just bought some cigarettes and had a one-sided conversation with the clerk about my laundry list or something. Oh well : D
