Demos Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">Demos wont start</div> i am trying to load demos of the type 3.0beta5 to 3.03 and none of them want to start, "couldnt open"

as i have seen in these forum u have talked about certain map and i have looked for NS_tanith and dont seem to find any difference, and i have also checked that i got steam and newest updates.

What is my problem?

It's quite possible that the only problem is the version compatibility. Although the only balance changes I can think of are simply numerical (so the DLLs won't cause a problem), sublte differences in maps sprites or models could cause the error.

Only solution (if you can call it that) would be to install the old NS version and play the demo there. Once the old version is installed could then also convert the demo to AVI format.
