I built my comp about 2 years ago (1.4 tbird, 384 ddr, geforce3). Ever since I built it everything was ****. Games would crash, games would freeze, bluescreens everywhere. I tried everything under the sun to fix it, and nothing worked. The crashing means that some piece of hardware in your box isnt getting along with another somehow. I never could figure it out until I was kindly informed that 95% of hardware compatibility issues is caused by cheap **** network cards. So I yanked my network card (It was a D-Link)... and my computer worked perfectly. No crashes, anywhere, in any program, game or app. NO bluescreens. I got a few last week after installing some **** printer drivers but after removing them everything has been fine for the year or so now since I pulled my network card. Ive got me a nice Linksys now, it works great.

So if various games are crashing on you and your bluescreening, try yanking your pos network card.

BTW I have an sb live value too, it works alright tho I have gotten those repeating sound crashes occasionally, but theyre few and far between.
