I'm Dutch first, European second. I think one of the cool things about Europe is everything having a different culture.
As others said, people will always have different opinions about things. One likes Pepsi, the other thinks it sucks and he'd rather have Coke. One likes being a Christian, the other thinks being a Muslim is the way to go.
Even if you force opinions upon people by having everyone under the same flag, no one will ever feel united or agree with everyone else.
Yes, a united world is possible, it would just take the world wanting it, and a democratic way of running it. And I think the power should be divided, and there shouldn't be one president of the world or prime minister of the world.
