Its a minimalist slide-show-esque little website.

Yes, Its really biased, but I do think it makes some good points.

(Also don't move this into the vile cesspool we call discussions, as I'd like to respond to this without fear someones god will smite me with a giant novelty wang wearing a cowboy hat)

I agree where it says that division stops us from concentrating on more important things but other than that...

Yes, lets fight the bosses! Lets stop working with everyone else because we can't see the end product and make everything for ourselves. Why would we want trainers when we can wrap hides around our feet, why do we need hundreds of different food products when we can just grow turnips in our gardens. Down with the Bourgeois!

After all, it's not like we could ever be bosses ourselves if we tried now is it?

It is nicely presented though yes.

Not to mention that you wouldn't be able to respond to it at all if it ended up in Discussions.

Also, I had C&C music (and Hellmarch as well) playing while reading that. Nice effect.

I am somehow reminded of Fight Club.

If he wanted to write a serious essay, he should have dropped the pictures.
It reads like a comic strip without the humour

lol he sure thinks highly of his own skills and abilities (not). Of course, he doesn't think much of anyone else's either. What a waste of a perfectly good human. Time to get off his rear and stop whining.

The only thing keeping him from controlling his own income is:
    a) his favorite blow-hard, "friends of labor" in DC with all their rules and regulations and money grabbing hands
    b) the fact that he'd pay his employees 3 times more than they're worth
    c) a pathetically defeatist blame everyone else attitude

The only thing I think when I see this garbage is, "How sad."

Anarchism - the terrible two's of social theory. Good to read, saw much of this type of propaganda in berkeley when I lived there.

lol most laws and regualtions are proposed by, supported by, or reflected by(whether they actually work or not) by the general people to begin with. At least in the US.

Then when a law fails or doesnt work they get mad.

And its also like the police and military have to follow the same laws as everyone else and last I checked they dont get paid very much either.

omg! its almost like they are like everyone else! Excpet they might just live by having to always set a good example (the majority that is, there are bad apples in everything mind you)

and by the way, see my signature

Feel free to continue posting serious threads in O-T, but you won't stop me from moving them where they belong.

As for the site - too simplicistic. Why is all work 'hollow'? I work three hours a day on NS - for free, because I enjoy it. Whoever did this tries to adhere to the very medial conventions he criticises in his first few stills.

His rationale (in broad terms) goes like this:

--Todays society is unfair, because there are a few rich people and lots of poor(er) people

--In an ideal society, we wouldn't have rich and poor people, every one would be equally wealthy

--Therefore, we should try to destroy today's society, in the hope that a new, ideal society will mysteriously appear in its place

Seems good, right? Except that he gives no hint of an idea as to why or how this ideal society will suddenly appear when we destroy the society we already have, and skips over the possibility that the result of destroying the rich/poor society just might be a new society where [i]everyone[i] is poor.

(@ Nem, he probably put it in OT because, as a restricted member, he couldn't actually respond to it in Discussions)

(Just as a note to our conservative friends - this is not a representative statement of communistic or anarchistic movements. I consider both fallible, as well, but they're a tad better founded. So do us all a favor and don't point here with a self-satisfied smirk the next time either topic comes up.)

Heh he can't read the replies to his own topic now...that’s just mean.

This kind of thing could cause people to imply the ideas from that propaganda to this forum.

CWAG can view the Disc forum. Aside from that, I really have no idea what you try to say.

Da har i rigdom du drevet det vidt:
Når få har for meget og færre for lidt.

    Danish. Roughly:
Thus have in wealth you made it far:
When few have too much and fewer too little.

As it is, the poor still outnumber the rich.
