Arrested Development is coming back!
<a href='http://www.tvsquad.com/2005/05/16/arrested-developments-coming-back' target='_blank'>http://www.tvsquad.com/2005/05/16/arrested...nts-coming-back</a>

Also, Battlestar Galactica is getting a second season starting in July. My faith in the television industry is slowly coming back.

    Arrested Development I have never heard of let alone seen, but I'm sure BSG 2 will force me to watch it using its damn science... fiction.

    Best way to watch BSG is to have a lot of patience and then watch each episode one after the other without commercials. It's surprisingly like reading a book, only not.

    The fact that they brought family guy back was enough to perk my interest.

    Wait, this is the greatest news in the history of mankind over the fact that scientists have found a cure for lukemia? (or at least a experimental medical treatment which if not completely killing the disease, put it into deep submission)

    im confused <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    that and the fact that Battlestar Galactica was hilariously lame <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Neither of these qualify. There are things a lot more important than leukemia research.

    I, for one, vote for <i>NANITES</i>.

    Hah Arrested Development rocks! They stopped showing it on BBC2/BBC3 a while ago, either coz of poor viewing figures or coz the series ended, I forget which. But its entertaining in the way that all those random American sitcoms are. I can watch any American sitcom and be entertained, they rock! British ones often suck. Excluding Bottom. And anything else I may remember later.

    EDIT: Whoa? Battlestar Galactica? Wha? You're not talking about the original stuff I assume...there's a modern version? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Arrested Development is pretty different than most American sitcoms. It's more subtle, with no laugh track, and it has actual story arcs. I find that those things make it much funnier, but some people may find it boring.

    I think the first episode can be streamed for free here, but it doesn't like Real Alternative, so I can't test it:

    Yeh you're right it is different, but I'll watch anything vaguely humorous.

    Cheers for Battlestar link, had NO idea there was a new version...

    I think Futurama (and Family Guy, for that matter) deserve to be on Cartoon Network more than Fox. Fox is like the really mean boyfriend that ignores you completely until you leave and find another man, whereas Cartoon Network is the nice, sensitive guy, who cares deeply for you, but isn't macho enough to keep you with him.
