So why not let the aliens have the same joy of destroying their CC and know that they don't stand a frigging chance?
If the marines lose their CC and the aliens have some skill then it's not a stalemate
Its a Definite Win.
Its the equivalent of the marines securing 2 hives, and I think its perfectly balanced.
The only addition I would like to see added is a surrender vote, so that players can vote to lose the round and restart the map. This would be handy when the marines are in a hopeless situation, or when the aliens have decided to cloak and hide when all hives are destroyed.
This reminds of a game where my wonderful alien team cored out the marine's gourd by nuking their CC fairly early on and then eventually nuked every piece of equipment they had.
But the game didn't end. In fact, some smart gorge who set up about 1.2million offense chambers (+ support def chambers) got about 100 kills off the marines who were spawning into their base out of thin air. No portal, no phase gate, no nothing! and they kept spawn, i kept paralyzing them and the guy's oc's melted him with acidic boogers.

Deserve a bonus from losing your CC to a group of aliens that obviously arent any good because they cant take you? And if its stalemate then the marines suddenly getting a new CC for free is gonna tip the balance unfairly. An alien team should be able to wipe out marines with no CC although it may take some time to wear them down if the base is good.
