Powered by the Dark Side
Star Wars is in the air at the moment on the forums, but I don't know if there are any F1 fans or followers hanging around who have seen this:

The Monaco race was awesome, not least of all because of the presence of Chewbacca and a platoon of storm troopers, and the Red Bull pit crew were even dressed up as troopers - making for somewhat amusing pit stops. Trying to get a pic of the crew at the moment, i'll have it later.

Its almost like Pod Racing but cooler.

Yeh Red Bull had some bad luck...Coulthard being rammed by Mr Shoemaker and then a puncture destroying an axel for Liuzzi.

McLaren didnt want him, Red Bull were the only team that would take him on. Think he almost wasn't racing this year.

Some racer should paint his car with Luke on it and have his pit crew dress up as rebel pilots.

The empire VS the rebellion at the F1

Hee, Schumacher must be grinning. He always wins, now that he actually lose, people asked what's wrong with him. The greatness in itself.

Let's hope some other crews decide to don the Rebel uniforms... or wookies.

I think I've heard they said Ferrari is using last year's cars, while everyone upgraded everything (especially Renault)

That was up until Imola, where they started using this year's car I think. The main problem lies with the tyres according to many people; Ferrari is the only team that uses Bridgestone (Aside Jordan and Minardi, but those teams don't test enough to give enough feedback to improve them), while the rest all drives the Michelin's which are simply better this season.

And its worth pointing out that Ferrari's last year cars are in effect better than most of the new cars from this years teams'

Ferrari have had a lot of bad luck, if Schumacher doesn't make a rapid comeback I'll put big money on him retiring at the end of the season.

Ok now that I saw the replay of the race broadcast, now it makes sense why the car was like that.

George Lucas is a F1 fan and sponsored Coulhards team for the Monaco race. Hence the car.
