<div class="IPBDescription">troubles with ns on linux serverbox</div> could anyone hjelp me? if i start on my root serverbox a dedicated server it crashes.
comamnd:
./hlds_run -game ns -port 21016 +ip x.X.x.x +maxplayers 20 +map co_core
it starts but few seconds later:
Core dumped (0)
server shutting down
add -debug to comamnd line blabla
on my other rootbox it works great
its an Slackware Linux, but this one is a FreeBSD 5.4 Release, all other hl mods working good (ex. DoD cstrike )
could it be the problem? And how to fix it without changing OS
thx <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Are you running it as root?
Are you running AMX(X) or Metamod? If so disable them for the time being.
AHA!
BlueNovember wins!
FreeBSD is a Unix environment, you need to emulate a linux environment! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
mount_linprocfs linprocfs /compat/linux/proc, apparently.
mount_linprocfs: /usr/compat/linux/proc: No such file or directory
