Wow, you brits have it hard over there...

    I don't think I could handle the spawn of hell and certain stereotypes... <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I've always said it's literally hell on the underground during summer.

But i love the cross of medieval and sci-fi, one of the things that also attracted me to the Warhammer 40k universe.

I'm really looking forward to this game.

The previews about it make it sound even cooler than that trailer made it look.

I'm praying this doesn't turn out to be the Morrowind of the twisted-modern-day genre. It looks A.I. and strategy-less. Heres to hoping.

Why are they showing 2 bad evil brits that are slaying peacful and happy monsters? Bad Brits!

This is very little like Morrowind. Really, it's Diablo II. It's the same guys making it, and they said they're pretty much copying a lot of what made Diablo great. I myself am really looking forward to it as a nice, refreshing slaughterfest.

    Nonononono, their not.

Their copying D2 mechanics, such as "Random Level Generation", "Random Item Finding", random this and that.

...but it has the gameplay thus far(in videos) of Morrowind, with lots of bows and arrows.

I think the bows and arrows aim themselves. They said the guns are "spell delivery mechanisms" in that they see the guns as versions of the Diablo spells where you basically point and clicked, but did need to aim a bit.

Because Morrowind was all about shooting people with arrows.

No, because Morrowind was about un-engaging gameplay that required no strategy more than spamming whatever button you needed to.

Morrowind was really boring, gameplay wise. The world and graphics and story... I'm sure they were very good... but I didn't had the endurance to play it without having any fun.

If the game is anywhere near as good as that video, then i'm sold.

Exploring London should prove to be fun. I wonder what the "Safe Spots" will be like.

well it certainly gains points for style based off the intro that's for sure :3

My only real complaint about diablo was and always will be what I consider lacklustre and repetitive combat. If this has varied and involving combat (even an auto-lockon doesn't bother me, it just places more emphasis on movement over twitch aiming ala metroid) then it'll get a thumbs up from me :D

There better be some very open-ended viewtiful scenes. Like Far Cry.

Let's wait and see what they do with sword combat...
