I'd also like to point out Bush never did mention where he stood on the current issues that seem to be plauging the news recently, which doesn't surprise me.
After all why focus on what would get him kicked out of office for being a conservative retard when he is such a good leader of the armed forces (I do support him in that).
It's strange that Kerry came off as the wimp and Bush as the trigger-happy military president, considering their respective records. It's all about perception.
I don't think he had the conviction when it came down to what was going on in Iraq. Which is what this past election was based on, not that it should have been though. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Bush - Conviction, and... no wait, he just wants to "win" more. Kerry - Experience... he was in Vietnam... this is an INSURGENCY, not a WAR
Maybe then we wouldn't have a bunch of HUMVEEs armored with scrap metal from Iraqi junkyards then, huh?
Anyways, on-topic, if we're having this much trouble getting funding for stem cell research, I guess I'm not going to have a clone of myself to get organs from, huh? Better watch my cholesterol.
Do you find it morally objectionable to kill sperm cells? They die outside the body. So would these cells we need for research. The only chance they have is if some woman decides she wants someone else's kids. I'd have a much, much harder time letting someone I don't even know raise a child with my genes than butchering cells with no nervous systems in the name of progress.

Going back to sky's post:

Kerry was such a... how to put it nicely... wimp?
Of course, I voted for neither. :-)
