Making Corridors Wide Enough.

<div class="IPBDescription">For Onosi ect.</div> OK so I just started mapping for NS. I wanna make sure that all my corridors are wide enough to fit an onos in. I can't evolve to it on my own game and I don't wanna make my mates play test a map that's barely started, so can someone tell me the dimensions for an Onos (I looked on the FAQ I couldn't see anything sorry if it's been asked).

Even better is there one of the monsters from the original half-life that's the approximate size of an Onos so I can use that to test it?

    You cant evolve by yourself? Make sure sv_cheats 1 is set, then bind a key to givepoints (ie, in console, type "bind p givepoints"), then mash it.

    I've just eyeballed it to about 1 1/2 to 2 marines tall. That may be too big, though.

    Oh ok great I didn't realise you could with cheats, thankyou. (wishes all mapping problems were this easily solved)

    just make a cycler entity in the hall you want to check, and set its model to the onos model. (its models\player\alien5\alien5.mdl)

    don't forget to add the nshulls.txt file to the compile (so you dont get stuck as onos when you duck jump <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> )
