We don't see citrogens because our emissions and crash test requirements are higher then other countries <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Edited for Cyndane - A 2CV entered last years Gumball 300 from Paris to Morrocco and despite what it's actually worth didn't break down, explode or anything else you might expect. Infact, due to all the Ferrari's, Viper's etc. getting ripped apart on the less than forgiving roads in North Africa and getting stopped so many times in speed traps in Europe, the 2CV (painted to look like the Dukes of Hazzard Charger, hence the team name of 'The General Lee 2CV) managed to finsh mid-pack.
Yes. If the ones being taken on <a href='http://www.mongolrally.co.uk' target='_blank'>this</a> manage to make it this summer, they'll be even better in my eyes.

That is ignoring the fact they are ugly... <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> Well I agree that Citroens are ugly as hell (even when compared to a Cadillac), but how the hell did you figure out that a Hummer has a better emission than even the largest most polluting (well tuned) Citroen you can find?
After a quick wikipedia search, I have found why the 2CV is possibly the greatest car ever produced:
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Pierre Boulanger's early 1930s design brief - said by some to be astonishingly radical for the time - was for a low-priced, rugged 'umbrella on four wheels' that would enable two peasants to drive 100 kg of farm goods to market at 60 km/h, in clogs and across muddy unpaved roads if necessary. It would use no more than 3 litres of gasoline to travel 100 km. Most famously, it would be able to drive across a ploughed field without breaking the eggs it was carrying. <b>Boulanger later also had the roof raised to allow him to drive while wearing a hat.</b><!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Some time ago when the Yugos (made in Yugoslavia) were being sold in the U.S. Consumer Reports ran it in one of their tests. It's citroen. If you want to be real technical it's actually "citroën". How can you expect to be taken seriously with a mistake like that...
And yeah the video is kinda cool. You're actually supposed to see the other advert to get the full experience. Basically it's exactly the same thing with the new version of the car and it doesn't break down at the end.
And the song is "Jacques Your Body (Make Me Sweat)" by Les Rythmes Digitales in case anyone was wondering. It's actually a good track if you listen to it in full.

most european cars are rubbish. Apart from Vauxhall (a.k.a. Opel) and BMW.
