I have written a tactical handbook for Gorges at on my website. I also have all the weapons and many impulse binds there. Take a look and tell me what you think:

Good one. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
I will be sure to direct the 7 gorges on my next team to this guide! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

I am a die hard def->move->sens guy, and it sickens me when some Gorge makes sens first. To be totaly honest I have never seen a team of aliens with if they get sens first, cloaking is way to passive for begining and middle game, it makes it much easier for marines to expand early on.
Great guide and keep it up.

Using sensory's to block shots for offensives is a neat trick that I never knew, the only thing I really want now is a cycle breakdown of the various options in starting for a gorge ie One gorge, two gorges, one gorge building one resource then waiting for a hive, etc.
Nice guide.

that's be great!
cool work naz.
My next foray into the tactical world will be either the Skulk or the Fade.
Also, there are three kinds of games:
1. Sucky commander. Kharaa gets three hives, then wipes the marines.
2. Sucky Kharaa (the "lets have 7 out of 8 Gorges from the start" team). You loose.
3. Even teams. The marines secures the third hive and holes up there, letting you destroy the original base. You have to take it to win, and you can only have two upgrades. Guess which upgrade is useless in taking a base?
So, basically, only in even games does it matter what you do, but in those games you will hate yourself for having sensors rather than motion chambers.

Motion tracking only tracks aliens that are moving. Cloak only works when you're still. The time it takes to chomp an unarmored marine is usually so little that the motion tracker becomes useless.

Getting INTO an ambush position is difficult to do without moving :-(
