right i have followed the tutorial and i have run half-life about 10 times but ns still refuses to target my steam account plz help

    Instead of relying on the NS installer to track down your correct installion path, just install it to C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<Your Steam Name Here>\hl

    When I installed NS on XP x64, it flatly refused to pick up the correct install directory, which was C:\Steam, intead picking, C:\Program Files (x86)\Valve\Steam\...

    As long as the install path is right, you shouldn't have any problems playing NS
