This is one of those "it-worked-on-another-forum-and-was-awesome-but-might-not-work-here" things, much like the photoshop chick tracts thread of yesteryear.

That said, I expect you all to contribute constructively to this thread, and try not to get it locked before it's due time. I see no reason why this thread shouldn't remain open, barring excessive spam/acts of mod/acts of CWAG.

The rules:

-I post a picture of something
-Someone posts a picture of something which can beat it (however you choose to define "beat")
-The next person follows up with something which can beat the last person's item
-E.t.c

You have to justify why your item beats the last person's item. It doesn't have to be a GOOD explaination, so long as it's humorous, or makes sense in a kind of warped logic kind of way, I.e, if someone posts a picture of Optimus Prime the next person could post a picture of a rain cloud with the justification that Optimus will surely rust.... only something more funny than that.

Try to post something which would JUST beat the last thing, don't just go straight to the obligatory picture of an atomic blast.

I shall begin the proceedings with a picture of a nice fluffy kitten.
