How do I run around the ceiling?
Greetings Folks,
Things have gotten much better since the patch, but still most people are playing sheep...errr marines. So I have taken up the call and started playing Kharaa.
I have a simple question, how do you get from the wall to the ceiling? I can get up walls fine, but every time I try to get onto the ceiling I drop off Pretty embarassing when following a squad of marines to fall into their line of fire ;p

-Tyme

I guess everyone's noticed that Marines just DON'T look up or behind them huh?

You gotta keep looking slightly up at the ceiling to keep the "stick".
    Practice makes perfect

Another good way to kill marines in ambushes is cloak + carpace + silent it works all the time against careless marines. Just make sure your always looking at the ceiling when you are running on the ceiling though or you'll fall off till you get to that corner hehehe.

Another good way of moving about on ceilings is to look down at the floor & hold backwards - then use the strafe keys to move around on the ceiling. I like this method because it allows you to move about on the ceiling whilist keeping a clear view of your target area

If you just strafe (no forward or backwards) you should stay stuck.

mmm yeah, but if you hit a bump in the ceiling then you'll fall back down... its safer to hold down backwards - it makes sure you keep stuck

You can also hold the crouch button and you'll become unsticky. I don't use this alot because I can just run off the wall, but to each his own. Maybe you'll find it useful.

You can look down, or any way you want. The thing that keeps making you fall is that you're pressing forward _while_ looking down (or, at least, while you're not looking at the ceiling). You have to be looking at the wall/ceiling you intend to move across, or it won't work.

As long as you arn't moving away from a wall / surface you'll stick to it.
