You do realize you overuse the word "fake", right? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    ****************************************************************

On topic, I see no images that beat Cyndane's Neutrino. Allow me to quote the author
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->4. YOUR PICTURE MUST BE RELEVANT. Thinking "OLOLOL! It's a picture of Flayra in a thong!" is not good enough reason to post said image, unless you can justify Flayra in a thong being able to beat the previous person's entry. In fact, Flayra in a thong would violate rule 3 anyway

    5. You must have some kind of justification as to why your image beats the last person's image. A picture of princess Leia followed up with a picture of C3PO is not good enough. Why does C3PO win?<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
In view of the above, I maintain no ones image was relevant to "Neutrino", nor did any subsequent replies justify why their image beat hers. Neutrino is the image to beat imho. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

No electricity - no robotron. Your plug has been pulled.

I personally can't see how Robotron beats electrons, so I'm sticking my neck out here, lest this gets derailed for another 2 pages...

    Without further adue...

Hydrogen fuel cell mechanics > electrons

That's why you need to EXPLAIN why your image beats the previous image. If you say paper beats rock, it's safe to assume that people will get it, but if it isn't that simple, there should be an explanation.

Edit: referring to robotron > electron
  • Lt_PatchLt_Patch Join Date: 2005-02-07 Member: 40286Members
Which is why I linked to the hyperphys website, for all those who don't instantly know why H2 fuel cells pwnt electrons...
  • DepotDepot The ModFather Join Date: 2002-11-09 Member: 7956Members
BloodySloth's justification seems acceptable, he just should have said that in his Robotron post.

I understood it without explanation, Lt. Patch did not. This happens frequently in this thread.

<b>/me makes a motion that any/all images posted from here on out MUST contain justification in writing of why it beat the prior image. Do I hear a second ??</b>

what are we trying to beat then depot?
  • CyndaneCyndane Join Date: 2003-11-15 Member: 22913Members
We are trying to beat not having electricity to pwnzor robotron.

    <img src='http://www.nrel.gov/csp/images/photo_solarfield.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

Solar Fields, ftw. (Albeit there isn't a lot of electricity produced, it is enough to power a robotron game, and few hundred homes.)

well their not really working right now, so i dont see how a broken machine can beat a working one?
  • CyndaneCyndane Join Date: 2003-11-15 Member: 22913Members
Umm.. fusion reactors do work, they just produce about the same amount of power as it requires to get them started, which makes it not worth the while, but it doesn't hurt the environment as much as your wind ones do and is 100% more reliable.
