    DIAMONDS DO NOT FUGGIN FORM FROM COAL!

    Diamonds and Coal have a VERY different Molecular substructure! You cannot "compress" a lump of coal into a diamond... yes, both are pure carbon, but they are NOT interchangable!

    You obviously missed this subsequent explanation

    <a href='http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/env99/env186.htm' target='_blank'>Ask A Scientist</a>

    <!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->If you were to take a lump of coal and squeeze it for a
    long time at very high temperatures, would you end up with a diamond, or
    graphite?

    If the pressure were
    high enough and last long enough, theoretically
    you could get a diamond, but it would be quite
    impure.  Coal has a high level of impurities
    (it is not all carbon), so any resulting

    Yes diamonds are created from carbon, but as noted above the coal image was not incorrect. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    It wouldn't be a true diamond

    It does have a scientific sub-catagorial name for it... basicly, it means faked real diamond.

    Krake > Nautilus

    I can't remember if Krake defeated the nautilus (was to long ago I saw it). But even if it didn't it still is the better sea monster, cause it's a living one and has a lot of creepy arms which can grab you and put you in it's crushing yaws...

    Tarzan beat the hell out of that poacher guy. Yeah, I'm aware Disney is evil. Still. I wanted to use something other than a police force, like the other two (three?) times poachers have been posted.

    It's a diamond, period. It may be impure but it's <b>STILL</b> a diamond, so my image was not invalid. And <b>STOP ATTACHING IMAGES, DUH!</b>

    Sun > earth. No sunlight would eventually render the earth lifeless.
