I appologise for the small number of shots, but most of the time I was trying to follow the strat and avoid A PAINFUL DEATH. We're locked for a week, but if I can get some more shots, I'll post them later. Ciao.

    Yep. We had the help of one paticularly good MT from legends, but it was still over half the raid being VE. Onyxia is a teamwork thing, everyone has to do their part perfectly or somthing goes terribly wrong and you wipe. In this run, she only firebreathed a side one time (causing me to drop to 10% life, yar.), took ZERO deep breaths, and the deaths during phase three were kept to a minium - she didn't turn at all.


    It was only only through following the plan that we were able to win, and this may be possibly why I didn't have much time to take any more screenies - I was too busy making sure I was folllowing the plan.



    Also, Testament, we allready took down aza with legends two days before we killed Onyxia.

    How long on average does it take to enter an instance, go through it, and finish your objective at high level? I can't possibly imagine staying more than say 2 hours in an instance, and it seems it takes so much time to do raid instances. Hell, even the Wailing Caverns looked long for me.

    In comparison to the likes of MC, Onyxia's Lair is pretty damned small, but on the whole, the fight with Onyxia lasts something like 15 minutes. *shrugs*

    Onyxia is pretty short, and can be completed in an hour or less, easly. The problem is if you mess up you wipe, and then you have to recover, and then you have to wait for all the warders to respawn since the one in the door can re-spawn WHILE you are fighting onyxia and create a wipe if you get knocked back here. The warders have somthing like a 20 minute respawn, and from my estimate, we made two tries. The first created a miscommunication combined with a glitch with CTRA, causing our warriors to get killed by a warder in onyxia's room, creating a wipe. The second run was flawless and created the kill, and it took an estimated 15-20 minutes from when we killed the last warder and when onyxia died, since the warder respawned before we left and tried to wipe us after the fact. It didn't work.

    It's worth noting that two guys from our guild got <a href='http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=35887' target='_blank'>The High Blade</a> on that run as well.
