Installing Ns

i installed ns under my steamapps and my account but it still doesn't show up...i read somewhere it is suppose to show up under third party games? idk but whenever i run it it runs cs? is it suppose to do that? and when i look for maps i never can find any ns or co maps under cs 1.6

well im just going to get hl 1 i was told by someone i might be able to run it through 1.6 but i guess not
