Woe Is Me...
<div class="IPBDescription">a rant & a public service anouncement</div> ..begin rant..
*sigh* about 6 months ago I decided to buy a 9800Pro. I didn't want to spend 200+ bucks though. So I found a refurb for 165. Wow. Great deal. 165 for a 9800Pro? awesome! Well.. not that easy. First was a dead one, RMA'd it (4 bucks shipping), and realized I had not the power supply to support such a wonderful card, so I dropped another 50 for a real nice PSU. Now it works. Wee. usually that is. Anyway, up till about 2 weeks ago it's been working properly, but then bang. HORRID artifacts to the point of ruining the experience (3d 2d and windows), and sometimes to the point where I simply cannot play games at all, not that I want to any more. To top it all off, a NEW 9800Pro is 124 bucks now. And to add insult to injury, I'm going from a 9800PRO TO A FRICKING 7000! AGHHH!!!!.....
..end rant..
P.S. Those who have ever thought of buying refurbished PC hardware, I urge you in all sincerity DO NOT be lulled into the pit of low-priced refurbished PC hardware. It may seem harmless now, but in a few months time it will rear its ugly head and show it to be the horrible beast that it is.

I mean, it's like playing the lottery, because you KNOW that according to someone else, the thing is broken. A tech may be able to fix it, but I trust a factory line more than I trust a tech when it comes to electronics.
Like, the Bubonic one? Or plague, as in, STDs? Should I not make sweet, sweet love to my hard drive? Because I'll stop. If I'm going to get, like, syphilis, I'll stop. Maybe.
