    it looks too bright in some areas, i liked the old lighting atmosphere. wasnt too bright or too dark.

    the 3rd to last screenshot is overboard with that reddish pink lighting, and the map seems alot brighter in general compared to the one i played a long time ago.

    ill have to dig up an old copy of hydrosity and compare it to this one to find out the exact areas where it looks too bright. i can remember the locations in the map, just not the names :/

    hopefully making it official will get it played more. to have a good match, you need at least 10-12 people on each team, else you be looking around the map forever for anyone because the map is so big.

    just did a general walkaround in the map. you must have your gamma uber high when you made those screenshots, it looks better ingame, but that red lighting is just bad looking.

    also to note you forgot to include your custom skybox in the zip file, so all i see is this giant white bloch where the sky is supposed to be.

    I remember some matches on the old hydrosity when we had this in the cycle.

    I dont know why you updated it this way. for 1.0 it was quite cool but compared with maps released the last months the lighting looks plain and some areas seem to lack details. we all know that you can do better mouse, hydrosity just doesnt reflect your skills anymore <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Aye, it's something I've been pondering; if I should go through hydrosity and redo the lighting or leave it relatively as is. I mean hell, I made hydrosity over 2 years ago now. If you can find areas that desperately need better lighting, just take a few screenshots.

    [EDIT] one thing I have done since making this build is giving all the pure white lights a slight yellow/green tinge; this makes everything look 'wetter'

    i think the map should be left as is with the exception of that pinkish red lighting. its one of my personal favorite big ns maps besides ns_moria and the old ns_bast.

    You also want to have a classic version of ns fenris, which sucks horribly.

    Mouse, just do what you need to do. Personally, I find the map extremely unique. It's a very different style, not the usual space station look. In some areas of the map though, I did find the rain sounds a bit loud, maybe tone them down a little bit.
