I really interested in weapons but reading this half page long explanation what is what bored me because to read a technical explanation in another language is pretty hard.
and one of the least interesting weapons are in fact the kalaschnikov series to me.

the reason it breaks down into a huge gun debate,is because he's trying to make a convinceing looking weapon, but failing. It's like makeing a gun with realistic physics, where a 100 ton object falls faster then a 2 pound ball.
and if the pwned pic. goes at the end, then the beginning should have this... <a href='http://img222.echo.cx/my.php?image=thispicmakesmoresencethenyou3m.jpg' target='_blank'><img src='http://img222.echo.cx/img222/289/thispicmakesmoresencethenyou3m.th.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' /></a>
and if ya want a break down of what she just said, then here:
The term flash break does not exist.
<img src='http://www.sksparts.com/Krinkov%20copy.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' /> basically what she is saying now is that the ak-74u cannot work without the pictured muzzle attachment, because the barrel is so short the gasses excape before pushing the piston and bolt back to chamber another round.
gas operated guns operate in that the gasses from the explosion caused by the gunpowder in the bullet case going off go forward and are sucked into a small alcove pratically like a vaccum and shove a pistol, connected to the bolt (fireing device) of the gun, back to chamber a new round by the spring loaded magizine pushing a round up.
the pictured muzzle device works to help "hold back" the gasses so they have more of a chance to go into the alcove and chamber a new round.because all the gasses are rushing out of the barrel, the tiny hole at the top distracts some of the gas and halts it,thus less of the gas that would normally excape out the big hole the bullet travels out of,and more goes into the alcove to force the piston back.
it also works to push the barrel down during rapid fire, thus elimateing some muzzle jump, increaseing accuracy.
the pictured device creates even MORE of a muzzle flash,so it really can't be called a flash hinder or a "flash break" whatever that is...
that is bascally sheenas post (with extra info) in a nutshell, cruched up for your reading.I think I might have left a few important parts out though (I'min a rush, going to the range in a bit and I have yet to check my e-mail...and yes I typed this up in a matter of 2 minutes...)
