I Have Amx Installed But Wont Show

i have both meta mod amd amx installed. highest version i can find.
i have them both installed properly but meta mod is the only thing showing on the server.
i do have the pack for amx that will support ns.

well i found out that when i type meta list it says the only mods that is working is wich bot, hivemind, and rcbot, every mod but those isnt working:

Next, confirm the mm.dlls are in the location pointed to in said ini.

im haveing a bit of truble trying to get a pic to show, id host the pic on my dads server but its ****** right now

No the 3rd from the top was altered. Regardless, comment out all plugins except amxx and restart. Mine looks like this:

ive gone through it like 5 times.
ill do it again and if it doesnt work, ill unistall both meta mod and amx and redl them and reinstall them i guess.

ok ive down what i said earlyier but still nothing, just same dang error of it saying that amx is badf load, by the way what is up with the f on badf? lol miss type or somthing? lol

welcome in the beautiful world of metamod.

in the console, type meta help for more info.

meta info, for info on that command.
now meta info amx(x). Note the EXACT path down.

unload (or force unload) amx
load amx, try to load by amx, amxfilename or direct path. I do direct paths.

Also i suggest to check if your metamod is setup correctly, however loading amx manually once or twice (and get it working) will usually fix the problem

i know, thats what im using, i dont see how this amx is differnt than amxmodx, ive got both and they arnt much diff

i just want to host a server 1 a week or month with peoples favorite mods on any maps.
only problem is that my bot mods, wich, hive, rc, is working and nothing else
but this is getting kinda redickuless, i know misspelling, that i cant get anything but bots working

well how come i have a folder called amxmodx and a .dll called amxmodx.dll then? and that metamod finds it as amxmodx and in info but not able to unload the dang thing?

Ya know what? Delete ALL folders regarding AMX or AMXX, use the tutorial I referred you to, and start from scratch. You have painted yourself into a corner, and have quite a mess. You have no clue whatsoever WHAT you have installed.

I run amxx, which is better, and for now will tell how to do it for amxx. (linux)

this is metamod. it loads so I won't get into how to get it loaded.
in folder:
hlds_l/valve/addons/metamod/dlls/metamod_i386.so

This is the plugin file for metamod.
/home2/darkling/hlds_l/valve/addons/metamod/plugins.ini

it contains this line:
linux addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_mm_i386.so

Now go to console and type meta list:
[ 1] AMX Mod X RUN - amxmodx_mm_i386. v1.01 ini ANY ANY
This is my amxx running perfectly.

Now I will force unload it. \o/
meta unload amx OR meta force_unload amx. (just the name WILL do, but if ti does not, use the filename amxmodx_mm... or even the filename+path)
The paths are:
filename: addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_mm_i386.so
file: amxmodx_mm_i386.so pathname: /EDIT/EDIT/hlds_l/valve/addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_mm_i386.so

Try to use the filename path first.

If it does NOT unload, IT DOES NOT NEED TO.
Then use the command "meta clear"
for example meta clear amx

ALWAYS try in this order:
name (amx)
filename (amxmodx_mm...)
path+filename

after EACH command (unload, force_unload, clear, load) check IF IT DID by using meta list

Be damn sure of the following:
There is only ONE amx something folder. NO amx and amxx.
be sure metamod only loads ONE like only amx, or amxx.
be sure there is only ONE dll/so file in the amx dlls folder
in the plugins.ini try to use PATHS as much as you can.

All this will make sure metamod won'tget confused between 2 amx(x) mods.

I havent gone through what you said, but i found the problem.
and i do have linix but its not on the pc im currently using to talk to u all and play ns.

in the plugins.ini files, both meta and amxmodx, i switched the \ or/ the other way and it works perfectly.

now im trying to get the admin thing to work in lan, apperently it doesnt have steam id in lan.

i have a post of it on here. so lock or something this thread, before anything happends!
