Okay I Need Help Finding Drivers....

<div class="IPBDescription">Branded PCs FTL!</div> Okay here's the deal. I have here an old USB scanner. If it's USB, it's GOTTA be a Plug and Play scanner right? Wrong.

The scanner in question is a TINY Computer Scanner, model no. FU612D.

I put it in, Windows XP finds no drivers. Here I start trying to find drivers, but here comes there problem; It's nigh on impossible to find the drivers if I have absolutely NO idea what model the scanner is.
I've checked the bottom of the scanner for the actual manufacturer and Model number, tried installing the drivers of a different model (TINY FU621D), and of course....Googling.

I would be grateful if anyone ever figures out who made the ACTUAL scanner, and if possible, help me find a link to the (ever so scarce) drivers.

From what I see, Tiny Computers went bankrupt and stopped all support. There are Win9x drivers out there but nothing for XP. I think you're SOL.

Unless your scanner is newer than 2001, or has a manufacturer which actively produces updated drivers, then you'll be needing a new scanner for XP x86...

Rule of thumb for most old scanners is that if you plug it in, and XP doesn't find them, then you buy another one...

HOWEVER, I have found drivers for the scanner, from DGC.

Scanner is manfacturer by Primax, and I will email you the drivers, as you need a login for the site...

    *edit*
However, need your email address first... PM me it.

Decent new scanners can be found for under $70 if worst comes to worst.
