Problems With Installing!

OK, heres the deal. I got the installer, i tried install and it said i need to shut down steam, so i did, then it said it didnt find any valid steam(won) account or whatever <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo--> , i got a valid one cause i bought Counterstrike CZ and so on, he got that too and it works to install NS for him.
