I'd assume he really meant energy since he talked about insulation of eletricity.

QUOTE

Also- a black hole breaks most laws of Physics. Since I haven't studied general relativity or modern quantum physics, I really can't add a meaningful response to this, but black hole theory has little to do with whether water's ability to insulate eletricity causes it to break Conservation of Energy--I was addressing two very specific comments, which I quoted .

I'd add something more on-topic, but I've never really cared much for the rangers .

    True, true

But even so, my grasp on Quantum Physics is rather limited (hey, I'm only a junior in high school) and my grasp on metaphysics is like a baby holding a sieve full of water

I was refering to the author's cracked out concept of anti-gravity devices; i.e., input small amount of energy into one end of the box, get tons of energy on the other. That just doesn't work.

. . . I really didn't get past the first few paragraphs. It was just too ridiculous to read.

Bump, I blame the "Site went down for nearly a year incident" for (me) missing this thread.

And this thread is protected from being locked by the "What's wrong with threadnecromancy" thread which states what as long as there something new to bring into the thread other than "lol" or "wtf" or "hax" then the thread shall stay open.

Wow, that's a lot of background 'pointless' story stuff. There's more thought to that background stuff than most of the Power Rangers storyline. I only read the first 5 lines or so and just skipped through everything to see how long it is, and that's long.

Sadly, a lot of Super Sentai(PR in Japan) male rangers show something similar in their ranger suit. They should be wearing something there to cover up that area.

In other news, a power rangers con is happening and look at all those people going.

Also there is a 15th anniversary special teamup involving some past rangers, similar to the Forever Red team up episode.

Wow... I'd go to that, if only to say that that I went.

I'd go(it's only a half hour away) but there doesn't seem to be much interesting things there. I mean don't really find going to conventions interesting(Unless they sell stuff that you can't get anywhere for a good price, etc) even if there are the actors/actresses who are going too.

I would simply watch videos that people post such as this one:

who knew such an inane kids' show with puppets beating each other up while shouting inane zingers would have such a deep backstory...

Science justifying stupidity... does not compute. Everyone knows if Power Rangers were scientifically plausible, then science has screwed up somewhere because in every episode, you can clearly see that only 2% of all the energy they use is actually directed toward a useful attack, the rest of the 98% is spent on "performing cool uber awesome moves that make 'swish-swoosh' sounds in the air". And what idiot scientist devises a battle zoid that only uses its one-blow uber-crushing attack only AFTER its had its ass wiped all over the floor?

"Oh no Rangers, he's too powerful, we must use the MEGASWORD!!"
"Dur uh.. gee boss, why didn't we just use that BEFORE we destroyed half the city, killing thousands of innocent people?"

POWER RANGERS IS A STUPID KIDS SHOW, IT IS NOT SCIENTIFICALLY PLAUSIBLE, GO BACK TO YOUR SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS.

    1. That guy on the first post has no right whatsoever in speaking on the matter, since he didn't create these rangers.
    2. This should be posted again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxQ8L_jf0Vc...ted&search=
    3. For a kid show, Jetman has one kickass song.
