Computer Freezes

<div class="IPBDescription">Freeze on loading screen</div> Often when I'm joinning a server and the loading bar is almost full my whole computer freezes. However once in a while I can join a game with no problems though nothing on my computer has changed. I've updated my video driver, reinstaled steam and NS but I still get this problem.
before a server begins to load now it says my Steam Ticket has expired and I need to re-enter my user name and password to continue. But only for NS.
My computer
-Intel Pentium4 3.0GHz
-Windows XP Home
-Graphics: RADEON X600 Series
-Sound: Realtek HD Audio rear output
Anyone know what I could do?
