    Mini-map change sounds good. Should go a long way in helping newbies.

    Gawd I know, who still uses default buttons? I don't even use a 'Readyroom Button', I'm a console person.

    ONTOPIC: Finally named minimaps...jeeze now people won't ask where what is and learn!

    plus, bleh, no special alien change for me to go 'OoOOoo' maybe next update.

    The "Fxx" keys get pretty full when you have binds for lifeform configs, screenshots for matches, binds for adminning, and the 100 other things you've no room elsewhere: anyways, anyone not totatly new can script a "double tap" bind for it.

    Anyone not new could make a whole new set of binds from a-z 1-9,etc with a new config for aliens/marines/comm :/

    What kind of idiot would place the fire button next to the popupmenu? Or the console button right next to Slot1? How dare the dev's try to implement one thing that's user friendly - shameful act.

    So ^Zunni^ what does the new marine model look like. Is it still polygonal like the one now or nice and smooth?

    I really hope their able to get some crazy looking models\high detail texturing on them to make them look on par with half-life2's or better.

    I guess we need a new rule then:

    No beneficial change should go into NS unless we can be absolutely sure that 100% of players benefit from it.

    Guys, it's a *very* minor change, I fail to understand what the drama is about, and I certainly fail to understand why some seem compelled to classify the less than perfect amongst us as 'idiots' or 'retards'.

    Can one of the dev's confim that there is much, much more to 3.1 than the posted changelog?

    I've heard about things that haven't been posted on the forums (new alien movement code, for one).

    I'm not asking for these things to be named, just for confirmation that there will be more for 3.1.

    (I'd also love to know if we will have 3.1 before the end of Summer, but I guess I know the answer to that; "when it's done" <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> )

    Edit: No, that is not the complete 3.1 changelog. Zunni has just presented some of the more or less finalized points.

    Read the other Developers corner highlights in the announcement forums, there are many other changes already announced..

    I don't know why people stopped reading the announcement forums, it's the place where changelog details always have gone..
