<div class="IPBDescription">sexy.</div>A coworker showed me <a href='http://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/' target='_blank'>ObjectDock</a> today. It's really slick.
If you've ever used a Mac, its kinda like the button bar in the bottom center of the screen. It's a lot more customizable though. It also takes a screenshot of a minimized app and uses that as the icon. The thing I like though is there are a freaking ton of high res icons to use that just look terrific. Even brand new games like BF2 already have an icon! :D
See example screenie attached, but you really just gotta see it in motion to appreciate it...

Brilliant. Original. Woohoo...
Definately pick up these packs:
<a href='http://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=7183&LibID=29' target='_blank'>Firefox</a>
<a href='http://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=6968&LibID=29' target='_blank'>Iconmix</a>
<a href='http://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SkinID=6923&LibID=29&comments=1' target='_blank'>Platinum Game Cases FULL UPDATE 3</a> (this is the latest version of the game case one)
<a href='http://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=6118&LibID=29' target='_blank'>Steam</a>
And that it is! Nice find doomeh.
Talk about CPU usage.
This thing supports animated icons. There aren't many of em and I dunno how they're made or what format they are, but there is a 'generic animation icon' addon thingy.
Oooh aren't we riding the fads of the interweb skillfully?

BUT DO THINGS GET BIGGER WHEN YOU MOUSE OVER THEM? <span style='color:red'><b><u><i><span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'><span style='font-family:Impact'>NO!</i></u></b></span></span></span>
If you're staring at the start menu then you're probably using the computer incorrectly.
Hey! That's <i>my</i> job!
Well, now that you've gone and done that, I'll have to counteract it by actually being helpful. Don't you know what you're doing to me!?
Alternatives:
<a href='http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2790.html' target='_blank'>YzDock</a> - Much easier on your cpu and ram.
<a href='http://www.rklauncher.com/' target='_blank'>RKLauncher</a> - My favorite; it has some advantages and disadvantages over YzDock, just try both.
<a href='http://www.penny-arcade.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=188390' target='_blank'>Icon pack</a> - much better than the one DOOManiac linked to. (make sure you check the second page, but make sure you <b>don't</b> click on any links labelled NSFW)
Having used it for half an hour, I changed my mind.
It sucks
Who the crap makes you register for a site to download something I'm probably going to delete in 5 minutes?
Soon as possible I plan to buy the full version so I can say bye to the windows task bar forever <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
