<div class="IPBDescription">Large picture.</div> Story:

My friend and I were PictoChatting away in class[It's the last few days, no one cares as to what you're really doing] so I thought of walking outside of class to see how far the connection would go before it cut. So I walked across the school's softball field until I got to the end. It did, but connected right back and I kept walking. I took a picture of the distance, and my friend I was connected to in the distance.

I actually go any farther because at the time of the picture, my back was up to the fence. Has anyone else tested the range of their DS or PSP? I'm guessing this is the same because they use the same Wireless component, right? What's the longest distance that you can be connected at, or if you're bored enough like be to try this, what was the distance you managed to stay connected at? The DS is supposed to go 100 feet or so, but as you can tell from the picture, it's well over that.

    Wow, that's nice, but you have to remember you're in a clear field, not surrounded by lotsa people and other signal-absorbing anomalies.

    True, we tried it to the left of the field and there were trees and benches in the way, and they totally killed the connection. You can see them in the picture. So we tried just in the open to see the distance, I was surprised it was still connected though.

    On Monday we're going to try on the larger field, and see if it'll go that far.

    I've never PictoChatted, and I don't think I have a DS or a PSP, so I'm corn-fuzed.     Yah, WiFi is realy nice, but only will get THAT far in an open environment.
