New Psu

Because my computer keeps crashing :X
My computer keeps crashing randomly, mostly during startup it'll crash and reboot, but also sometimes when I try to play games (i.e. I just loaded up CS:S and started playing, and it crashed 5 seconds later). I figure it's on account of my 2 hard drives and my X700 being powered by a budget Rosewill PSU, which also only can plug 24 pins into my 27(?) pin mobo power connection, and doesn't have enough plugs to power my case's intake fan (which is also covered by the front of the case o.o;).
Soooooooooooooo...
I was looking around NewEgg for a new PSU, and while I've found a few, me having knowledge of the subject is untrue. I also don't plan on spending more than $40 on it =X
This is my current one
I was planning on buying this Thermaltake one based on all the good things I've heard about Thermaltake
I might get this CoolerMaster one, also based on good things I hear about them.
But I've really got no idea about this power supply business, I've seen links and tried to read it but usually get lost in the first paragraph :x

Sometimes, I get CS:S and BF2 close randomly on me, and I hear a windows error msg in the background, but nothing pops up.
EDIT: Without warning at random times either during startup, or gameplay(but usually right at the start), and sometimes even randomly while just doing whatever.
As the kids say these days, QFT.
I used to be one of those guys who was all "olo, you paid how much for a power supply? Are you freaking NUTS?" types, but now that I've gotten one I have definately noticed a general betterment of my PC. I can't really explain it. It's also a hell of a lot quieter.

qft.
A good PSU is essential. Don't overlook on this, because it ensures the wellbeing of all electronic devices in your PC (which is everything, obviously)
Don't buy a Noiseblocker. If possible, buy one of those cool modular ones where you choose which power cables to use (less clutter) and try to get a silent one. Don't go Tagan though, because the only reason they're silent is because of their slow-rotating fan, but they heat up more.
