First Time I've Screamed Out Loud In Fear...

Damn you DOOM3!
My god, I never knew that could actually happen to me. I'm playing the demo of DOOM3 after playing a bit of Co-op on my friend's xbox this weekend, and I'm a little bit into it. After the disaster, of course.
Anyways, I load up my game where I stopped playing last night because I was getting slightly bored with it, but was also starting to get slightly freaked out. Immediatly the transmission comes in with the people being slaughtered and the door in front of me has slid open. The machinery in the room makes this loud banging sound every ten seconds or so, already the scene is set for me to crap myself. I look through the door a bit before taking out my flashlight and looking around the I'm already in. I'm probing the area with my flashlight when a hidden body pops up in front of me and freaks me out a bit, I didnt see him there and, well, hes not pretty. I continue to check out the rest of the room as the transmissions truely keep me on the edge.
Now I'm sitting by the door and have finally mustered up the courage to go through. I'm frantacally searching around with my flashlight as the machinery is clanging around me. I walk around the corner and hear that brief zombie ("BOO!") before swinging around to come face to face with this bloody zombie. Quickly I rip out my pistol and shoot about four shots to his face before the bastard goes down, popping another one into his corpse afterwards. Alright.. ok. Freaked me out. I kind of sit where the zombie was and search around that corner. No, nothing else. Not that I see. And another door slides open to my right.
I peer through it to see a grate floor with eerie blue light comming through it. One of the grates is lifted up and when I step foward I hear the imp pounding around. I'm dead set on not getting the **** scared out of me, so I keep my flashlight on that grate as I step backwards down the stairs. All of a sudden I pick up a shotgun, switching off my flashlight and making the entire room black except for the small red lights and that one blue light. I step onto a hidden elevator as I'm still backing up in fear (the imp did some more pounding) and it makes a loud BANG as it shoots downward into a dim, red lit small passage. My heart is racing as I swing around to see three zombies about eight feet away from me.
"F***!!!!!!!" I scream out in a truely, frightened man voice as I open up a can of gamer survival instinct and blow the living crap out of all the zombies.
I dont think I've ever been more scared in my entire life. That seriously almost made me **** myself.

...but I still have to face that imp. I need to buy this game.
Edit: That was a lie. Feel free to tell us of how you got scared.
Hahaha. You're joking, right?
Also, The Cradle is one of the scariest levels I have ever played. But I didn't actually scream out in that level because I went on a rampage and slaughtered all of the patients so they couldn't get me. Once they're all dead it's a fairly boring level.

Ohohohoh. He asks if it gets worse. Bwahaha.
...just wait till Delta complex. The first 20 steps are perhaps the hardest...ever. And thats not even Hell.
EDIT: Actually IMO the whole game wasn't scream-out scary but it did get creepy every so often.
I'm going to buy the game. No doubt. But I'll die.
He swore to never play the game again. I laughed.
Beat the whole thing in 2 sittings. Seriously, what's the big deal? Yeah, it was a little tense at parts, but not WTH scary like everyone's saying.
Damn those freaking jumping spider zombies of fast OMGWTHSCREAM scaryness.
edit: Ravenholm was scary.. but not scary as DOOM3 for me so far. No lighting with jump fright and flood seriously gets me.
I played Doom3 in broad daylight with everyone home and windows open and Funshine Sun shining in.
Suddenly, I hear these HOWLS and those damned fast zombies LAUNCH themselves at my out of NOWHERE!~
I FELL OUT OF MY DAMN CHAIR!!! XD
Then I got up and blewm em to hell with a shotgun

Hell yeah, right after you get the shotgun, and your waiting for the elevator to make it way up the building, if you close the door, the fast zombies crash through the glass windows instead.
That really scared me the first time i played it, i closed the door and was like, "Well, they cant get me now!" and turn around to get some health...
...i was dead wrong.
wait a second...
Same. Exactly same. Freakily same.
QFT. SS2 is the only game that ever cause me to actually lose my nerve and stop playing (at the Rickenbacker's escape pod). Doom 3, meh. Nice graphics, but it didn't scare me at all. Not even a little. I guess it's not scary when you're running at a framerate that actually lets you nail the demons? In any case, nothing can scare me when there's that much shotgun ammo lying around.
