the AG-36 grenadelauncher attachment can be undone,and a small attachment allows the grenade launcher to act as a standalone mechanism.Although the xm8's varient will not support this initially,I'm sure a version will be released later...
as for the m203,a standalone fireing attachment was planned,but they thought the m79 would always be there...
additionally,the XM8 is made by H&K so ya know...
