my current one blows
I'm looking for the following characteristics in order of importance from most important to least important:
1. Easy to type on (light touch, no sticking)
2. Easy to clean (I get all kinds of crap in my keyboards)
3. Thin/Flat
4. Doesn't have a numpad (So I can keep my mouse closer even with the keyboard centered)
I found this http://www.grandtec.com/vik.htm which looks really really cool, but the amazon reviews say you have to press really hard, which isn't acceptable.
I love laptop keyboards, cause your fingers barely have too move, and they click nicely.
Suggestions?

own it... it's awsome, i'de recommend the 'eclipse' though... this one has lights around the keys, and the eclipse does that, AND lights up the letters IN the keys.
finding one without a keypad is almost near imposibble... you could always shell out some big bucks and get The DX1 Imput System.
fully customizable placement of keys, removable and dishwasher dafe tray, and a junkload of keys... it looks lovely.

Those things are tough and duarable, to clean I just rip the keys off. Im actualy planing on painting mine when i come up with an idea. My brother who has broken 2 keyboareds in 6 months hasnt managaged to brake one of these yet. Although he did manage to clog a few keys with dirt making them stick every so often...
Though I suggest you stand away from flat keyboards if you eat too much around your keyboard.
