aight, so go with the new mobo?

If it keeps me less than 2,100 I'm happy... but I want this thing to be upgradeable and stay pace with new technology. Hence the full size tower <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Okay, next week I'm buying my Case, Fans, Thermal Paste, Heat Sinks, and Power Supply. I need some guides on how to put all this together, but Google isn't showing anything specific enough for me <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> And my body isn't co-operating to well... I think I have Scurvey (lack of Vitamin C) right now... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The pieces I gave you are compatible. Make sure your PSU is 24 pin, not 20.

The AGP 6800GTs go for 260, unfortunately, the PCI-Express versions carry a hefty premium.

There are some 7800GTXes out for around 550, if you want to drop it.
