<div class="IPBDescription">i'm clueless</div> I've been looking into buying a digital camcorder lately for under $400, but I honestly have no idea what to look for. All I know is that I want a camcorder that can take still pictures, last a few hours, and hold an hour+ of video. Help? <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I can relate, i was also in the market for one, for thebest quality, go for a miniDV camcorder. DV= Digital video, so you get damn good resolution (a plus for people who want to do independant fims) for not big size. Each casette lasts somthing in the range of 45-60 minutes depending on the size bought, and a couple sony ones have memory stick slots for stills.

    And a word of warning, get em from a reputable dealer, i got one for 125 bucks, and it's literally a 3.5 megapixel camera stuffed into a camcorder chassis, still shots look damn nice, but the video looks like my sister's kodak.

    also, check <a href='http://www.camcorderinfo.com/' target='_blank'>http://www.camcorderinfo.com/</a>

    Last a few hours? Who's making home porn then? <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->
