Natural Selection Installing Problem

I just finished installing Half Life Source, and for some reason when i double click the NS .exe it says "Setup has not detected a valid Steam or Half-Life (WON) install. Do you wish to continue?" And so i click yes. But it doesnt find the right directory to install, like that other guy said. After i choose a directory C:Program Files/Games/Valve/Steamapps/-----------/half-life source. (Not sure if thats correct but thats as close as i can get it) I install it there and restart the computer. Run Steam and its not on the Play Games list. So...whats going on??

-Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

You cannot install ns onto half life source. You must install is onto conventional half life.

I can see me having to spam this for a while yet...

    <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=90801' target='_blank'>NS Community Installation Guide</a>

That is the correct way to installed all of Steam, and NS. Follow the instructions from downloading NS, and you'll be fine
